No, they use the mount that is like a rubber gromet. You strap the watch around the gromet.

That would be the only negative thing I have seen with it so far, but they made it much slimmer, so I think that the back of the case was streamlined and putting that mount would have increased the thickness.
Maybe some day someone will invent one that doesn't look like you have a computer strapped onto your wrist. This is a big step in the right direction.
