Made it back home from Maryland yesterday, I see I have lots to catch up on here, all these great race reports and workout. Its been monsooning here, so I did a 4.55 mile speed workout on the treadmill this morning.
Saturday I did a breast cancer 5k in my parent's town, I placed 2nd in my age group, but I was a little disappointed in my time. This shows me I need to throw in more speedwork in my running regiments, I am stuck in the 23 minute for stand-alone 5ks, my goal is sub 23.

I was happy to hit a sub 30! and happier that it has held. One day I hope to get to possibly a sub 25.
I hate having short legs!
