Yeah I think the little sprints are a blast.

Even if I wasn't interested in doing more Tri's I'd probably keep these on my radar as a fun event to do every once in a while.

I like them better than going out for a 5 or 10k race.  Even the longer sprints that may include a 5-10k run.  They are just more enjoyable for me than straight running.

Yeah, now if I could just learn to swim, everything would be right in the world, the planets would align and might not start off the bike portion feeling like I escaped a near drowning.


I'm pretty happy with the results.  I wish I had put on my Garmin to see how I did.  But I was kind of flustered in transition so I just said screw it.  I was going to ride as hard and run as fast as I could, the watch wasn't going to help pace me.

Awesome job bro! I am running that 100 miler and 7 days later I am registered for my last Tri of the year... Hopefully I can walk fully upright by then! Lol... Have a good one bro.
