I was just invited to join a team.  Seems like a lot of fun!  Anyone ever do one of these?

Looks like each runner will end up doing 3 legs of varying lengths totally 15 miles or so.

Can't believe I am already thinking past Goofy - but lord knows I'll need something to motivate me after I recover!!!

Nope but I would like to try one.  We have the Southern Oddessy relay here in GA which I think would be cool to do.  Go for it!

Nope, never done one, but we have a couple of them locally.

Sounds like a cool event.

at one point last year a couple of folks at work were considering doing the southern oddessy that paul mentioned.... it actually passes my work building toward the end of the event.  i hear the key is to figure out how to deal with the smell in the support van (and to rent, that smell just won't go away :) )...
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Yeah, we have the Gettysburg to Washington, DC event. We had a group of 10 runners (two vans). It was a lot of fun but boy it was tough sitting in the vans after each run. Being the only RNY runner of the group was also difficult since I was the only one not drinking. The midnight runs were the most difficult since I had trouble navigating in the pitch black. It was one of those events that I wanted to check off on my to do list.  Second run of the two was the toughest. Lack of sleep helped me run the third leg.
