October Goofy Reminder

This is a reminder about next years Disney Marathon and 1/2 Marathon

I am still a maybe. I made it through the first round of layoffs, I think they are done, for now at least, they are supposed to make an announcement soon that should let us know if and when to expect a second round of lay offs.
I am hoping to come, I was concerned about my 11 year old while running the half but several people have said their families would be there and she could hang out with them. It would be a nice treat for both of us with DH deploying in November.

Good luck, I know how stressful layoffs are, I went through 5 rounds of them at my last employer before they finally closed the company.

Now I'm with a city and they have been through 2 rounds of layoffs.  It sucks having that axe hanging over your head.

So to prepare for the Goofy Challenge, I want to do a marathon in mid-Nov. Anyone know of a good one in NorCal around that time?

December 4th,  It's a little late, but it's in Sacramento and It's supposed to be the fastest in the state because it is generally downhill from start to finish.

CIM is too close to Goofy for me. Also, registration closed midnight on Sunday. 

I will look up the Chico one. I tried Active.com but their UI defeated me.
