Just wanted to let you all know that I did it!! I walked 60 miles!!!

I wanted to thank you all for your support and tips. You all are awesome!

The first 17 miles were walked in a steady, pouring rain...what fun!!!

Moleskin and my CamelBak saved my life.

I didnt get any blisters until the last MILE!! Only because I had my foot wrapped for planar fascitis and the wrapping was too tight. I stopped the last mile to loosen the tape and under there were blisters. I pulled the tape off not knowing and proceeded to pull the skin off of my foot. I refused to get picked up by the sweep vans the last mile, so I wrapped it back up, put my shoe on and kept going until the end!!

Ive been crying ever since! ha ha...anyone have any tips to stop that??? Im an emotional wreck!

Thanks!! Yep, I cried so many times reading everyone's signs. The closing ceremony really got me when we held our shoes up for the survivors. My mom is a survivor!!

We did end up having to ride a sweep early on the last day. My teammate got dehydrated and was on the verge of passing out. We rode thru two stops, about 6-7 miles to lunch. It was just the two of us and I wouldnt have left her behind. But she felt better and we finished!! whoo hoo!!

I figure I earned those lost miles walking thru the rain and mud!!

Big HUGE Congrats!!!! You're going to be emotional for a while, and then a little down, but then get right back into exercise and it will pull you right back out!

It was a little depressing to come home and not have a cheering station waiting for me!

I didnt even have any sugar problems. I felt like I ate so much too. Guess I needed it. I just tried to keep a good balance of protein with my carbs.

We did have 'crackwiches'. They were the size of ice cream sandwiches, but they were grahm cracker/PB&J...OMG. So freakin good! Made me think of everyone :)

Im trying to keep moving to keep from getting too sore. Im on a roll now and dont want to let it slip! Thanks for all your help!!
