No mans land
It was a blast. Especially the part about getting to ride with a pro.
This Saturday I will be locked in the pain cave.
I'm doing the GranFondo in Santa Rosa. It's put on by Levi Leipheimer.
This will be a different beast. 7500 riders and it's 102 miles and 9000 feet of climbing.
I'll just have to put my head down and granny it up the hills.

It's kind of funny, I think about how far I have come with my weight loss and workouts.
I'm what I would consider a very healthy weight now. I'm still pulling 50 pounds more up the hill than those guys. I'd like to see what it feels like to go up any of those climbs without that extra 50 pounds, but I don't think I could ever shed that much more weight.

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
I know the feeling about the weight thing, I am boarderline athena, the pro women triathletes my height weigh about 40 pounds less than me, I don't think I could lose another 40 pounds, nor would I want to since I would probably look like a skeleton

It makes me wonder how they do it, becuase the guys who are my height are thin and have no extra body fat at all, but they don't look like concentration camp victims. When I get down to 190, I look like a skeleton, and I'd still be 25 pounds heavier than them.

The longer you are obese, the denser your bones get. Yeah for strong bones, but it's going to make you heavier...and if you're like me- there's a lot of excess skin ta boot!

A lot of the professional cyclists have small frames. I think it's a self-selection thing... they can get leaner so they do better and the guys with the bigger frames don't do as well and drop out.

You're a lot taller than most of them so 50 pounds probably wouldn't be healthy.
