Small steps
Well, I have to admit a year ago today I would have been complaining about walking from the parking lot to the grocery store door. I could not ride most of the amusement rides, and was genuinely unhealthy.
Today I completed a 5 mile run in 54 minutes. That is 6 minutes slower than when I ran my first 5k On May 21, 2011, but obviously almost two miles further. I was also able negative split the last mile.
My continued thanks and support in this forum, I am having so much fun being a healthier me. Looking forward to some longer distance in the near future, and some tri's.

Too funny.
it's kind of like this. I put one foot in front of the other, hope I don't trip, and pray that my watch is wrong and it is actually 4,9 miles into the 5 mile run.
