seated exercises?
i'm currently on medical leave for a balance issue and have been for the last 4 months. well in this time i havent exercised and i dont eat right..i sit here and watch tv or be on the computer and eat whatever is here. my husband works alot so i don't see him very much...a friend of mine suggested maybe doing seated exercises...so i was wondering if anyone might have any suggestions thanks

I have a friend that once had a major inner ear infection and lost his sense of balance for quite some time...a few weeks at least. It was funny at first an teasing him on things like what was he drinking and when did he get back from sea. (A truely funny guy that love a good laugh.) but it got real bad for a few days when he got sick to the stomach. Not fun...

Hi there! Just a couple thoughts based on your post. 1) it's important to understand that NO workout / training plan will compensate for a terrible diet. So, make sure you are making good choices that you can live with, especially in a time when mobility / activity levels might not be where you would like them to be. 2) Some seated excercises are curls, any muscle group with dumbells, leg extensions, core strengthening on a big balance ball. I wonder if you could get clearence to try some water aerobics at your local gym too. Best of luck...
