was feeling kinda crappy when i woke up, but forced myself out for a ride this morning... glad i did, my back/hips/knees are still hurting me, but i was able to put a solid hour and forty minutes in and built up some confidence that i will kick this injury.  garmin details below.

First day back training since the ironman. Went on a 21 mile ride with my hubby, he just got slicks on his hybrid bike so he picked up some speed. Legs felt great, actually glad I took a whole week off after ironman, but wanted to keep the ride nice and short today. Me and hubby signed up for a local sprint tri on the 17th, will be his first. Its going to be a really low-key race, not USAT sactioned, not chip timed, mass swim start, will be lots of fun.

I was so excited--I ran 6 miles this morning, the longest distance I've ever run-WOOT!  I did it at a 10:38 pace, which is better than I thought I would be able to do.  I'm a bit sore, but not drastically so.  I have a 10K race in two weeks, and now I am confident that I will be able to fini**** at least.
