It has been so wonderful reading about your training this past year and to see that even with all that hardship, you have managed to mold yourself into an amazing athlete.

Thanks for the wonderful ride report, I hope you are incredibly proud of yourself woman YOU RAWK!!!

Oh and, when was the last time you were fitted for your bike? Sounds like your legs aren't tracking properly and maybe you need an adjustment or to switch the kinds of cleats you use. I had a similar ITB problem and getting an updated fit eliminated it entirely.

Seriously, I have great admiration for people who come to do races with hilly courses without being able to train hills at home. That's got to be way more difficult than differences in weather and altitude. I don't know how you guys do it!

IRONMAN!!!  way to rock it girl, that is an incredible time, congrats!  if you are willing to take the drive, i will officially offer my services to help you train on hills.  seriously, we can do some of my favorite hills rides around my house in *******  just email me and let me know!
