Looking for folks who have lost weight through diet....
I joined this site because my daughter just had the sleeve surgery. I was worried about her and looking for support for her. Now, I'm looking for support for myself. I weighed 279 in Sept of 2009 when I started weigh****chers. I've lost 75lbs. I still need to lose another 60 or so. I'm looking for support to finish the race. Is there anyone out there who has walked in my shoes?
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!
There is a non-surgical weight loss forum on this site that might be a good fit--and of course, the exercise and fitness group is full of great people supporting each others weight loss efforts...I don't think anyone cares how you do it, as long as you do it with a combination of good eating and fitness.
Are you exercising? If yes--bravo! It is the #1 key to long term good health and weight control. If you aren't, I encourage you to find exercises you enjoy and get moving!!
We are here if you need us, welcome!!

The only way I lose weight is with exercise...even with surgery. When I say exercise I don't mean the leisurely walks in the park kind of exercse. I mean all out sweatng my a** off in the gym. I am just not wired that way...I wish I was.
If you haven't already I would strongly suggest you incorporate resistance training with you exercise. Strong lean muscle will help you lose more weight.
