I am so excted I have to write this down
Hi everyone. I am so excted I have to write this down. I am training for a 5K. Old couch potato, snack loving, stay home alone, never exercise me. I've lost 100 pounds since RNY last year and want to keep it off so I will enjoy the outdoors, meet some new people and exercise. The university where I work has a wellness program called Walk/Run so that's what I am doing. I never thought I would see this day. Wow!
Congrats! That's a big step. When you cross the finish line for your first 5K, you'll find it's addicting and you can't wait to sign up for the next one :)
