Little Miami half marathon

I am not a very good race report writer and not much to say on this one. I let my legs rest last week to go in fresh but it didn't help much. My goal was to keep a 10 min pace and did that up to mile 8 but fell off hard after that. I wanted 2h10m but struggled in at 2h23m. 10 min faster than my trail half last year but this one was very flat. The humidity and my allergies killed my as I found myself weezing and coughing from about 6 miles in.

I finished 181 of 314.

Nate you did great even without the health issues and you did a whole lot better than all the people who only thought about doing the race!

Sorry you are disappointed in your performance.  I can tell you that I am impressed as all get out.

I hear you on the weezing, and I can't believe you finished if you were struggling from mile 6.

I think this is a HUGE accomplishment in a tough year for you!

a 10 min PR is a 10 min PR... congrats!  great job through tough conditions.  humidity is the number one most uncomfortable/toughest weather condition to run through, it really messes with your body's ability to cool itself.  awesome finish nate, you should be proud.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Sounds really impressive to me!  Humidity is a killer even without allergies.  I can't believe you finished while wheezing!
