Hey my fellow WLS EnF'rs,

June 25th I went on a century ride and just after the 50mile mark (at the top of a 20mile high mt) on the way down my back tire blew and I went flying.

Had the usual injuries, road rash, head contusion, and a broken arm (in 3 places). I was in so much pain that all I could do for the last 2 months was sit on the couch....I was not a happy camper.

But today, I'm off those awful pain meds, out of my cast (tho still in a brace) and I'm ready to get back to working out. I've sadly lost some muscle mass and weight, but I know with hard work and determination I can get it back!

I'm putting this out here for accountability, and to let you guys know how much I missed all of you, your adventures, and support.

I can't wait to get out on the road next month, I miss riding my bike sooo much!!

great to see your post!  Just your post alone is a great inspiration!  You'll be rockin the centuries again soon enough, but take it easy at first for sure!
