wednesday workouts
Walked a little over a mile on my break.
Going to the gym and working out in the pool to do the following:
Working with 8# weights for arms
Ladders (jumping jacks, froggie jumps, volleyball jumps, cross country skiing, side kicks, one leg rocking horses)...do 3 sets of 25 each with a slow jog in between.
Jogging in the big pool then move to the warm water pool cuz by then the little kids are coming in for swim lessons! Finish with 100 plus sit ups
I'm starting a new job on Monday and switching to the 3-11 shift. First week will be on days and the gym is closed all week for cleaning. I'll work out in my little pool and ride my bike and walk.
When I start on 3-11's I plan to hit the gym before work, I'm excited about taking Butts and Guts class and Zumba, love to change up my workout!
In the warm pool: finish working with weights

I love me some corn! Our favorite thing in California, before we moved was almost every Friday night we would go the beach for a Bon fire and we had a special trash can. You take the metal trash can, go out 20-30 yards into the water and when the tide comes in, fill the can half way up with ocean water... Throw the can on the Bon fire and bring the water to a furious boil to get out all the bacteria. Throw the sweet corn in the water and the salt from the ocean water actually cooked into the corn. Slather in butter and THAT is the best corn ever!
