I signed up for a month and am going to my first spin class tomorrow morning! I am super duper nervous but excited at the same time. I don't even know what a spin class is really but I LOVE to ride bike so we shall see! Any pointers on this? Lol wish me luck for this is my very first attempt! Eeek!

I was super chicken but luckily there were 5 new beginners and 1 person who has been there a lot so I wasn't alone!

just go have some fun :)

In the 2 months of summer in ND, there are some awesome places to ride if you ever get into road biking.  My in-laws live in Sidney, MT and  have a place by Newtown, ND on the lake, its pretty amazing to be able to go 30 or 40 miles straight on the same road and never see a car :)

I'm not too far from both of those places (about 45 min) but yikes I am scared to even drive the roads around this state anymore it's crazy!! Accidents everywhere with semi's and stuff. I would love to go road biking but I'm too big of a chicken lol.

well, those oil rig trucks have certainly changed some of what used to be seriously barren roads!  But the visiblity is so far there, they can see you from 25 miles away :)  If you ever give it a shot, I am sure you'd get hooked and get over the fear for sure!

Yes the oil rig trucks have changed a ton of things! The sad thing is, is that they see you but expect you to move out of their way instead of the other way around. I eventually want to try it though because I love to be outside on our few very short months of summer =) Maybe this oil boom will slow down a bit some day or they will make better bike trails one or the other lol
