oh crap.. so I didn't volunteer at lake placid this weekend, and sort of decided I just wouldn't do another full in 2012 since its been so hard to train for.. but I thought why not try and see if I can get into lake placid 2012 anyways...  oops...

Congratulations! You are now registered for 2012 Ironman Lake Placid. Please check the event's official website for updates: http://ironmanlakeplacid.com

Way to go on getting in! Its a hard one to get in! I know you can handle another ironman training cycle, you have the heart and determination! I'll be a volunteer there so I will be there cheering you on and giving you water or your medal.

I want to do that race but couldn't afford to sign up today. Hopefully there will still be community slots when I do have the money.

honestly, I figured when I hit ok it would come back and say it was full.  I am getting more excited about it though, kind of glad I did it now so I don't have that big let down after Louisville.  It represents a big challenge for me in that is has a traditional mass start in the swim vs. Louisville...  I'm gonna need to learn how to really swim over the winter :)

SAWEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!   I may do IMAZ again next year or NYC, I haven't decided yet, but we will see... I got my eye on ULTRAMAN 2012 so we will see how an IM plays into that for "TRAINING"...

Glad to see that you got in online.  I volunteered Sunday at the finish line and was up bright and early to register.  So, I'll be tackling my first full.
