Taught my 5:30am Spin Class which was another meat grinder, and bricked 1 mile in 7:10. Time to shut it down in preperation for the OLY Tri on Sunday in Waco, TX. BRING IT!!!! I want to push myself on the bike and see if I can average above 23.5mph and sub 50 minutes on the 10K. We shall see...

so its hot here. Really Hot. Africa Hot. So I thought I'd try and pull off my longest ride of my career. Yea, I am half the speed of Bill, but I did get to three digits in miles and temperature today.

my coach thinks hammer enduralytes are awful, she hooked me up with S!caps from succeed.. anyways, yea I was popping them like candy. I had to stop 3 or 4 times to replenish the water and powerade, not sure how much I must have drank today but at least 8 big bottles worth. At the end, when that sun hit me there were moments I was sure I was gonna fall over, that's why I cut it short (was supposed to do 120) and didn't do the brick. Didn't think it was gonna work and I got a 18 mile run on the chart for tomorrow... yikes... Ironman training is hard.
