Good for you, Fran! I also used the C25k program, followed the scheduled and at times felt No Way was I going to be able to run straight for 5 minutes, then No Way was I going to be able to do a 10 minute run, then No Flippin' Way was I going to be able to run for 20 minutes....but I followed the schedule and I did! Started 10 weeks ago and this morning I got and ran 3 miles without walking it. You SOOO can do this and it is great stress reliever!

Thanks. I should've said, this is my 2nd week of week one. I plan on moving up on the 1st of every month. I had a very stressful couple of days, and for the first time (in my life) running felt good. Right now I'm C25K'ing M,W,F and walking and doing the weight circuit T, Th, Sat. I'm in a point system contest at my gym that gives points for weight loss (I feel like such a cheater there because of surgery but I only get up to 2 pts a week for that), showing up, filling out a fitness card each week, and bringing in a healthy recipe each week. So far I'm in the lead :-)
