Question for the ladies - TOM
I have. Usually, even though it sucks, I feel better at the end of it. Of course, Ive had a few days where there was no way, but generally, yeah.

I had this same fear when I started working out, especially since I work with a male trainer and I wans't about to discuss it with him. After surgery, I had my TOM for about 3 months straight and then it worked itself out and now I'm totally regular. Hopefully this will happen for you too. You can always do a lighter workout those days or just walk. I avoid abdominal workouts during TOM and usually work my upper body and do cardio. Just don't let it be your excuse not to go. Good luck - you'll find what works best for you!!

Courage is not always a lion's roar. Sometimes, it is a small voice at the end of the day saying I will try again tomorrow.

Not only do I workout during it, I did a Full AquaBike with it once. (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike).
However, after that experience, I said "never again" and got an IUD. Not I don't bleed at TOM. I still get some of the symptoms though.

I was really hoping that with the extreme weight loss it would go away for awhile. No such luck. Every 28 days exactly its back with a vengeance. Such a PITA. My symptoms and PMS are worse than ever. Extreme mood swings, horrible cramping, acne, terrible headache --you name it. I get it. This past month I got it the day of a very hilly 5k. I'm sure if affected my time. It was my worst time yet and I just felt totally drained.
So, what type of meds are you taking? I'm assuming they are for your TOM?
I also think I'm pre-menopausal and thats not helping matters any either.

I took tramadol. My pcp gave it to me for cramps. It helped but it made me very, very queasy.
I have NEVER had TOM trouble before surgery! Now I feel like I'm dying the whole time and I bleed like a stuck pig. I wish I could get fixed, lol.
I survived this month and I'm back to the gym today. Still no pool but I'll walk. Got the ipod all loaded too, lol.
