I made a mistake!

So today I went to the Health and Fitness expo to pick up my number for Monday's 10K.  So I am walking up and down the rows of booths when I see a booth for 13.1 Atlanta, I had planned on doing the Atlanta Half Marathon any ways and if you signed up today you got a discount plus a TShirt so I sign up and then she says "See you in October" and I think Nothing of it.  On another row I see another booth for the Atlants Half Thanksgiving day, only then did it dawn on me that I registered for the wrong race!  Oh well If I can do one in Oct I am pretty sure I will be ready for one in November.

So the rest of this year is looking like

July: 10K
August: 5K for Wounded Warrior Project
Sept: 15K, Winward Challenge 5K (Redemption this was my first 5K I did last year)
Oct: Half
Nov: Impossible 5K, Half Marathon (Thanksgiving Day)
December: a couple 5Ks

I am eyeing a duathalon or 2 in here somewhere as I work on building some endurance back in the shoulder, and getting the swim back on thrack.

I did my first and second hal 20 days apart.

The first was on my birthday 10/11 and the second was on Halloween.

The second one will be easier for you than the first.
You will know what to expect, have a better idea of pacing, and it actually hurt a lot less.

After the first one I had a couple days of soreness.  The second one did not produce that delayed soreness.

Have fun, you will do great.

Scott
