How long to train for a marathon???
looking back @ my goofy training schedule my long run for the week from 14 weeks to race were:
7, 10, 12, 10, 14, 15, 12, 13.1, 17, 19, 12, 20, 12, race
i think you have 17 or 18 weeks to race now? i used a modified higdon's so my numbers won't match directly with his plan and i modified it to run a half on turkey day.

Where are we going?? And why am I in this handbasket??

Someone on this forum once told me this is not the place to come for people to say No. That being said I haven't done a full yet, but totally believe that you are the type of person that could pull one off.
Good Luck.
Good Luck.

If you need some rest breaks check out Jeff Galloway's training plans. They incorperate walk breaks. If you can do a half than you can run/walk a full.
The thing that I liked about the goofy was how fun the half was when I was in full shape. I think that you would find the same thing. You will have a great half if you are in shape for a full.
