Well last weekend I tried out a bicycle for the first time in 25 years. Looking forward to giving it a go again, but waiting for my bike shorts to arrive.  :)

This past weekend i hiked a small mountain!  Haven't done any real hiking.... ever.  So this was a good experience too!

Now I'm on a waiting list for a soccer league that my boyfriend just joined.  I went to his game Friday night and it was finally a league at a level suitable for a beginner since I've never played soccer but have been watching him play for nearly a year.  Most of the league is made up of parents who have been watching their kids play all year.... now they are giving the game a shot too, but most haven't ever played before.  This is the first year of the league and they were able to form 4 teams for the summer, but got many inquiries after the first game, so they are hoping to add two more teams.  If they do, I'm IN!

Hey, why not, right?

Woot!  Yep, why the hell not!!  Sue you are living the life that I envisioned when I decided to have WLS;  having the courage and energy to try new activities, to put ourselves out there.  Way to go!

I am creating my own revolution and PAMdemonium reigns!

One of my fondest memories was playing a pratice soccer game with my daughters...4 men vs 11 girls...The girls won.  With your endurance training you should do well.
One quick thought on the bike shorts.  I wore mine last week for the first time.  It took a little while getting use to them.  Felt like wearing Depends.  If I'm riding and then standing or walking a small amount I like them.  If I have to walk over 100 yards to get somewhere or to stroll after the ride...I wished I never had put them on.  Just me.

yeah, I've wondered about that diaper feeling.... hopefully my experience as a woman who has endured maxi-pads will make that part less annoying if I have to move around some.

one thought, you may want to look @ tri-shorts, the padding is about half as thick as regular bike shorts so you can swim/run in them comfortably as well.
