Want to run a marathon with us?

Seht and I have lost our runner on our Vineman relay team to an achilles injury. So we are looking to replace her. It will only cost you a $25 transfer fee and you'll get all the perks of a full entry.

The race is July 30th, a Saturday, and starts in Guerneville, CA with the swim. After I swim 2.4 miles, Seht will bike 112 miles and then you get to run 26.2 miles. There is a mandatory meeting on Friday, which is also when packet picket up is.

It can be hot up there that time of year but we're slow enough that you'll probably be doing your running in the cooler part of the day, after 3pm or so. 

Let's one of us know if you are interested. Our team is called "Winning by Losing" so we'd like to keep it in the weight loss family, so to speak. Though, if you know someone who might be interested, that would work.

Hope you guys find someone!  A group of people from my neck of the woods are heading out there to do this race this year.  Trying to convince the wife to let me attempt another one next year--perhaps this one is a possibility?

We found someone! And, I think she's actually fast. I hope she doesn't mind slumming with us. LOL
