Was wondering???
hey if it gets you out and active then I say go for it. There are no rules that say you have to live in the gym. Some off us do because we outgrew other facilities.
The main thing is to get out and do something.
Good luck!

i haven't joined a park/rec program per se, but i certainly take advantage of the local parks and greenways around here (North of Atlanta). I agree with Paul, whatever will get you motivated to move is going to be good enough, the trick is finding something that you enjoy, that way it is sustainable. best of luck!
Where are we going?? And why am I in this handbasket??
right now. somewhere. somebody is working harder than you.
