ManiacCookie,

Please..please continue to exercise.. Walking anything.. nothing too crazy.. There will be weeks in the future where you dont lose anything. dont let that number frustrate you.. How do you feel is the better question .. physically and mentally when I work out, I feel fit.

I can show you several photos of women in my class who all weigh the same. You can tell who works out and who doesnt.. It very obvious especially a year after surgery... I personally like to think I have more muscle mass..but that is my goal.. I dont want to look like bag of bones.. I want to look normal with a toned body.

By the way, when you limit for calories too low... your body goes into starvation mode.. and your metabolism tanks..So, when you think you are burning such and such, you really arent.. By the way, losing muscle sucks.. much more difficult to put muscle back on.

With Love,

Michelle

Well I thought about it all weekend and I've decided I'm going to keep up my exercise. I really felt good the way I was exercising. I was getting into smaller clothing, I was noticing a lot of size difference in my thighs and arms. So screw what my doctor thinks he's not me and he's never been overweight so I'm gonna do this my way and make myself feel good. I'm going to exercise like I was 6 days a week and eventually the scale will catch up.

I am going to make a minor adjustment to my calorie intake. Instead of 1200 I am going to move it to 1400 and see if that helps. I have been looking at all of the sites. Myfitnesspal, livestrong, etc...all of them are telling me to make sure I'm eating at least 1400, so I'll try it for a few weeks to see if it works. :)

Thank you all for convincing me to stick to exercise.
