Motivation While Exercising
I often want to quit running at first. Then I found out that when we start to exercise, our ATP requirements skyrocket but it takes 10 min. for ATP production to ramp up. So now I tell myself to wait until I've been doing it for 10-15 min. and see if I feel better. I almost always do.

ah, there's a science to it! I just thought it was me and my asthma trying to sort it all out the first mile of a run, but perhaps there is more to it!

When you're working out and you feel like you're going to quit, what do you do to keep going? How do you push through those tough moments during exercise to finish the workout? my motivation is in my tagline, the second line that is :). when i hit a wall, like many others i evaluate if i should push through or stop, if i feel that pushing through will NOT hurt me in some way (i.e., cause significant risk of injury etc) then i will go for it. today i decided to cut it short, the risk of injury was too great so i cut my run off @ 10K.
Where are we going?? And why am I in this handbasket??
right now. somewhere. somebody is working harder than you.
