How do you get yours to register biking as vigorous activity??!
I went on an 80 mile bike ride on Sat that included 4800 ft of climbing. The only part of the ride that registered as vigorous activity was when I was going up Old La Honda (1260 ft of climbing over 3.3 miles). Yeah, I was only working out vigorously for 30 min. of my 7 hours of riding. NOT.

I think there was a bug in the most recent release. During the ride the band said I was only doing mod work while I was breathing hard and sweating my ass off. Made zero sense. Came home and plugged in and got that result. For two plus hours of cycling the app only iPhone said I only burned 700 cal...my MBR is around 120cal/hr.
I know it's not perfect, but I don't think a hr above 160 and constant sweat pouring off me probably counts as vig work.

I've found mine to be fairly accurate for everything I do except biking. It used to be much worse though. The first time I did a long bike ride - 3 hours - it told me I'd burned 700 calories. Since I normally burn 60-100 an hour just sitting around, I thought that was fairly ridiculous. It's better than that now.
How do you get the new software? Does it just download when you sync up your data or do you have to do something special to get it?

And now you jinxed me....
Ran this morning for about 30 min. Did one of those frustrating conference calls and decided to do a sprint five mile ride.
Pouring sweat, averaged over 17mph, was over 19mph on straightaways and hit of peak of 27.
15 min mod.
WTF.
Will check it again tonight but I knew I was sweating harder than when I was running this morning.
