Q&A - just for fun

ooops I thought this said T&A well anyways here it goes.

1)  Typically twice.  I sweat massively during cardio and have had a couple episodes of mild
dehydration so I do it for hydration levels.  I only count 1 weight a month as the official weight.
2)  Whey then meat.  I have a difficult time eating a decent portion anymore than 2/3 cup of a
solid dense food and I am sick.  I try to maintain a goal for protein in the 160 area so I do
      supplement a decent amount.
3) I am close to the 1 year mark and will see him around the annual anniv of my surgery. Labs
will become annually although my Primary does quarterly since I have had B12 issues, I do
shots and seem to tank around 2.5 weeks.  I currently do shots bi-weekly but my numbers
are still low right before a shot.
4) This year is doing the Peachtree Road Race next month.  Then probably the Atlanta Half
Marathon. At least 1 sprint Tri this year Hoping for 2.  Next year will be more Tris for me
including the Augusta HIM. This Fall I am shooting to run the impossible 5K and turn in a
negative finish time (You up for this one Bill?).

1. Once a week

2. Whey, chicken, red meat

3. Once a year, once a year for labs as well

4.This year finish Muncie 70.3 in a few weeks and Ironman Louisville in August, doing only short distance in 2012, so my goals next year are 1 first place overall in a sprint, place top 3 age group in an olympic, and to improve my 70.3 time in Augusta (whatever time that will be, I am doing my first 70.3 in a few weeks)

I knew I wanted to do 2 half ironmans next year, 1 early season, and 1 late season. When you announced you were going to do that one next year, I started to give it a lot of thought. Augusta fits perfectly, only 2 hour drive for us, so hubby won't need to put in leave for it, plus the climate is the same as it is here, so no weather surprises.

1) How often do you weigh yourself?

Daily. Well, some days I forget. 5-7x a week

2) What is your primary source of protein? I'm not sure. Probably dairy (whey, cheese & yogurt). And chicken.

3) If you are over 1 yr post-op, how often do you see your bariatric surgeon? How often do you have labs done?

Labs - yearly for sure but sometimes in between if there is an issue I'm working on

I see my surgeon almost every month at support group (probably 10x a year). I was supposed to see him last month for a check up but my insurance is screwed so I'm waiting. At this point I'm 2.5 years out and seeing him every 6 months in the office. I think it will go to yearly after 3 years though.

4) What is one fitness-related challenge that you hope to accomplish in the near future?

Vineman 70.3 tri is next month and then Ironman Canada is in Aug.
