What did you eat?
Dean Karnazes answers: A lot. We calculated that I needed to consume roughly 6,000 to 8,000 calories a day to match the expenditure. Below are some of my go to foods and beverages:

Bear Naked granola
Greek Gods yogurt
Almond milk
Raspberries/blueberries (organic, when possible)
Bananas (tons!)
Wild Planet salmon and tuna
ZICO
Supreme Protein bars
Margarita Shot Bloks
Raw ginger (helps settle the stomach)
Sparkling H20 (more stomach settling)

Number of GPS miles: 3,105
Number of shoes exhausted: 53 (all trail shoes)
Number of socks destroyed: 22
Number of blisters: 0
Number of lost toenails: 4
Number of lost pounds: 3
Number of hours of nightly sleep: 4-5
Number of wonderful memories: Countless
Number of people who touched my heart: Ditto
