Okay..I Jogged 3.1 miles on the treadmill with some incline in the beginning.. then walked 2.0 miles , 45 minutes of weight training..

I was so proud of myself for doing the 3.1 on the TD continuously. I've been training for a 5k in Dec. Now, I know I can do it.

When I told my hubby about how proud I was of myself, I didnt get the support that I thought I would.. I feel physically strong but damn it was a slap in the face...

Anywho.. looking forward to working on my speed and endurance..

Slow day. Ran 5-miles in the morning and spent an hour in the gym on the stepper.

I did the 5K this morning. Kicked Fran Shorter's ass.  I looked for you at the start but was unsuccessful.

I just noticed that.  Pretty cool.  I wonder if I won anything.  That was with my annual stop to talk to my best friend from high school who is a middletown cop and always works the races.  The stop usually only takes a minute or two.  I like the 10K a lot better but I have done 0 speed work and thought the 5k would be more realistic to fun fast.  Guess my buddy thought differently.  ;)

You had a real nice time!  The classic weekend is one of my favorite of the season.
