so glad no broken bones.  Sitting around in hospitals is more exhausting and draining than any workout I've done.  Good luck on your 10k

11 miles run/walk today. Thought with all this training it would get easier. Ran down the long hill after mile 5, but mile six, my knee started hurting and by mile 9 my hamstrings and calfs were aching. Oh well, going to get to know the foam roller really well this week.

Got up early to complete W5D3 of C25k.  Today was the long 20 minute run.  I worried that I didn't have it in me but I trust the plan & prepared to give it my best shot, knowing I could repeat the day as often as needed to get that 20 minutes done.  I DID it!!!  Ok, so the last 2 mintues were a mental struggle and not a pretty or smooth slog, but I did it!  Finished walking out a 3.5 mile loop.  Felt so good I hit the 60 min Zumba class at the Y a little later.  Then I headed to the beach, where I promptly fell asleep.  Sunburn - ouch, ouch, ouch!  Ok, I never said I was the brightest light bulb.
