Saturday workouts
im resting.... just back from a long drive back from vacation but I did workout alot while away.. i did about 11 miles everyday on the bike and about two hours per day swimming.. my legs are sore but my ass is killing me and still numb from the bike seat all week lol and thinkin about the people slowing down in thier cars to get a look at a big guy doing about 35mph on a bike...id imagine is not an everyday occurence in the quiet town of cape may nj..
Well, I HAD a big day planned.... Last night we had the late softball game and didn't get home until almost midnight last night! My alarm went off at 4am and was immediately silenced and ignored! :) I ended up rolling my booty out of bed at 7am and got ready for my ride. When I registered for Ironman Louisville, I promised my wife that I would be home by noon on Saturdays (My big training day). So, in keeping with my promise, I managed 70.25 miles in 3:36:18, and bricked 1 mile in 8:15. Looking forward to hanging out poolside and BBQ'ing for the rest of the day... VIVA Sleep, VIVA Training, VIVA Family, VIVA life!!!
