Cancer update
Yesterday was an all around great day. As you all know last Friday I had my radioactive iodine treatmant (3rd time in 2.5 years) and yesterday was a full body scan to see if it took to any remaining cancer. As I said this is the 3rd time and the 1st 2 did nothing. Well this time I can say my misery was not in vain. B4 my surgery in January my blood indicator for Cancer was 90 and needs to be at 0. B4 the radioactive Iodine it was 27 which means they got roughly 2/3 of the cancer in surgery. Yesterdays scan showed a huge cluster of lymph nodes that had uptook the radioactive iodine. This means in 6 months to up to a year these cancer cells should be killed by the radiation. The plan now is a CT scan in 6 months to look for progress, and bloodwork and 1 more iodine treatment in a year to see if it is finally gone.
I want to thank you all for your support but most of thank GOD for his strength and love.
I am probably 2-3 weeks from feeling human again and a month from feeling like me again though. Keep pushing and inspiring me guys ! It took 30 days to come comepletly off my thyroid meds and it will take 4-6 weeks to get my levels back to normal. I was just allowed to start back on them last Monday.

Nate, I am happy to FINALLY here some better news about your cancer. I love it how you are going through all this and still continue to rip through your weights and cardio sessions. You have a great attitude despite what you are going through. Your strength at this though time is one of the many things I draw inspiration from.

Nate, that is a great report indeed. Here's to the death of those damn cancer cells! In spite of the challenges, you have used them as motivation to fight for your health and that is awe-inspiring. I look forward to your daily posts.
