XP: Muscle Gain or Just Bounce?

So here it is all laid out: I'm up 5 lbs and it's not budging..it's not the daily fluctuation either -- it's been here for about 3 weeks. Still running (did a 10K on Saturday), still tracking and getting my proteins and vitamins in, etc. and limiting refined carbs. Clothes still fit but I think it's crazy to be 141 lbs and a size 0 -- is there something off about that?

The 141 itself doesn't bother me at all it's the fact that the increase has come within the last 3-4 weeks. The only thing that has changed is my weightlifting -- I've moved to a consistent M-W-F routine...is it possible that this is all muscle?

How do you know if it's truly muscle gain (without an expensive fancy test) or am I just bouncing since I'm just a couple months shy of my 3 year?

I've put 40 pounds on in the same clothes ..... loosing some fat and putting on muscle. We work out hard to be healthy and fit so we can't be afraid of the numbers. If your gaining weight it's ok , if your gaining fat it's not. You can tell the difference in the mirror.
    No longer about weight , it's all about living.

Hey kitten!  Me too!  I'm up about 5 lbs since I increased my running and upped my weights.  My clothes still fit (actually are bigger in spots) but the scale is holding the 5 lbs for about a month now.

I say no worries....we KNOW what fat looks/feels like, and I really do think this is muscle weight!

I'm up 5 pounds too. But I fit back into my tightest jeans whereas I didn't fit into them this winter when I was 5 pounds lighter.

I am sure its muscle.. with all that running..curious.. how tall are you?
