with two weeks to go before the Mt. Washington race, I was able to get back on the TM today after 10 days of doing pretty much doing nothing due to my gout. That 10 days alters my finishing goal to just that - finishing. I was origionally hoping to finish in around 2:15 with a good amount of running.

Today was 2 miles at 13% in about 37 minutes with little toe pain. The toe pain is the important part.

Had a bad day, was all pumped up to run 6 miles in the sunny and hot 102 degree weather, by 3 miles I was dried out, dizzy, weaving all over the road with cars coming from both directions, after overall felt very tired and fatigued from the first few steps. So I stopped at 3 miles feeling like a total and complete failure yelling at myself and hitting trees in anger.

I will get some more sleep, hydrate myself, regroup, and try to do better tomorrow.

Got my butt out of bed and went on a 3 mile run with hills. It was tough and I was slow. Later in the day I lifted for 40 minutes-upper body.

Starting to get real dizzy again through out the day.

Taught my firt back-to-back spin class. Not kidding, quite possibly the toughest classes I have ever attended. So, 2 hours of VERY hard spin. Maybe 40-42 miles.
