beginner yoga dvd recommendations?
Carrie
the one I have that I use a few evenings a week before going to bed is Yoga: Just my Size with Megan Garcia. I find that it helps after a stressful day of work. I really enjoy it but cannot tell you how it relates to any other DVD or a real yoga class; its the only one I've done. But it relaxes me more than a warm bath does.
Good luck finding one that works for you.

Can anybody recommend a beginner yoga dvd? I'm NOT ready to actually go to a class but I'd like to start some yoga. I'm still walking 60 minutes a day. Haven't gotten the gym membership yet though. Thanks!!
I love yoga, and I have a recommendation.....
I went to a 6 week beginning yoga class to learn the proper breathing and poses. To get the full benefit of yoga, you really need to breathe correctly and master the poses....and yes, I guess you could do it on your own, but I didn't have the confidence I could learn it on my own.
The class I took was for beginners, and was a very relaxing, non-threatening environment--I really enjoyed it and when I was done felt I could continue my practice on my own. I still do it now, using the P90X yoga workout.
Namaste! Enjoy it--it is great for your body and mind! I'm so proud to see you trying new things--you will be surprised by all you will be able to accomplish.
