HUUUUUUUUUGE PR In The H2O

I couldn't keep this one to myself... I headed out when the sun came up to Benbrook Lake. 20MPH Winds were blowing, but the sky was filled with blueness and birds, and no clouds in sight. There were a couple of people swimming within the roped off area, but I swim from there to the boat boueys which is an exact 600M Loop. I was feeling awesome and knew I was gonna nail my swim. I slapped on my Xterra Vendetta Wetsuit, got the goggles and cap on, and hit it. I swam hard into the wind with white caps surling over me, but I hit it even harder with the wind and clobbered it.

58:47 later I finished my 4000M Swim. That is a sub 1 hour Ironman Distance Swim. This is by far (About 7 minutes) the strongest swim I have ever had in a race or in training. I am on cloud nine! Just had to share.

Tomorrow I got a big run, then Monday is a 60-70 Mile ride with a 1 hour brick. HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND EVERYONE!!!
