I needed another rest day. My legs are still a bit dead and don't want to injure myself.

good long ride in the hills and some mountains.  66.4 miles in 3 hours 38 minutes and some change, averaged 18.2 mph so was very happy with that.  now my legs are burning :)  that's how you know it's working :)

 dang you deflated my bubble by humbling me :)     

My legs are burning too!  I sent my garmin to my coach, and she tells me I was supposed to keep my hr under 150..  I tried to explain I was climbing in the best gear and doing all I could to stay upright :)

it's taken me years of hard work to build up my legs to handle the hills around here, you will be smoking me in no time.  my coach yells at me all the time for training outside of the the zones she sets up :)  when did you pick up a coach? tri-specific coach or general endurance?

 just last week, my ART guy set me up with her, she has a personal training setup in his building.  She is tri specific, but also does a lot of physical training - I did a session yesterday and she put me through lots of core stability stuff.  She really seems to know her stuff.  She personalized a plan for me right up to race day.. we'll see if I can stick to it.. supposed to do a 9 mile run tomorrow.. yikes..

we keep each other in check here and motivated, but for some reason it's completely different when you are working with a coach.  you'll find yourself surprised very quickly how much and how fast you can improve.  good luck!

just figured out how to upload from my new garmin bike computer (my wife got me a garmin edge 800 for my b-day a couple of weeks ago!), it's a very sweet computer with wireless speed/cadence sensor/HR/power (if you have it) etc.
