Hi. My name is Yehuda, and I'm a 23 year old bariatric dude in so cal. I have lost 260+ pounds since my initial surgery 19 months ago. I was recently revised to the ds for maintanance...long story...

Anyhow, I was just cleared by my surgeon to start running again. I first started running a while back after I was inspired by Dan B's youtube vid and blog. Tomorrow I will start with the c25k, and just go from there to 10 k, half marathon, and then my first marathon. Surgery did its part, but I have to do mine.

welcome and good luck with your goals (lofty goals at that!)... check in with us often for support and advice.  best way to get involved at first is to post on the daily workout threads.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Great to hear from you Dan. I was planning on doing my 1st run tomorrow, but I got too pumped and went down to the beach earlier and had a great run.
