nervous

Tomorrow is my big day. It is my first 5k race! Why I'm so nervous?? What if I don't know how to pace myself? What if I start to fast and run out of gas or start too slow and never pick it up? I'm really excited but can't wait to get it over with so I can learn from it. Also it is suppose to rain but I'm still going to run.

That's awesome! I found it easier to not think about it, and just do it I kind of had an adrenaline rush so it just carried me through. My overall pace was a little better than my normal workouts which was surprising. Have fun and congrats!

Start near the back and that will help you control your pace better. You will be fine - enjoy it!!!

Just go out and have fun with it. Remember, every first time is a PR, so you will set yourself a new PR tomorrow. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
