It is amazing how the body can so rapidly respond during training---and how quickly it can lose it all when you stop!

2.5 mile jog... followed by one hour punching and kicking drills on a heavybag and finished off by flipping a large tractor trailer tire from one end of the gym to the other.. which I cant say i enjoyed  that part really sucked actuallly   lol

 just some ART and an intro meeting with my triathlon coach.. yep, we're taking it to a whole new level for the full.  Thinking about doing another half im June 5th, the Rev3 in Quassy, CT, they also have an olympic aquabike which could be fun.  Need to get a wetsuit.

40th b-day today... I was a bit bummed, but mostly because now I have to race in the 40-45 age group . All I did today was about 100 flights of stairs at the water park . Vacation is over, tomorrow we get up early to drive all day home. Hopefully get back in the gym on Thurs/Fri this week to prep for my first sprint of the year on Sunday.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

Rode the bike to the flea market (got a massage and bought some fruit).  Then put the bike in the truck...rode to the Amgen Tour...Did that before work and after work.
