Welcome!  This is by far my favorite board.  You'll also never see those "I regained all my weight" posts here either!!

Welcome to the board. This place is the BEST! Bu****ch out because it becomes addictive and next thing you know, you'll be signing up for your first 10K or half marathon. LOL

Course not, that's too easy for you.  You have to go straight to the IM, don't you. Show off.

thank you all !   my background is  Taekwondo   with 27 years  4th Dan black belt ,  I came up from the old school taekwondo where it took a minimum of 6 to 7 years to earn a black belt,  not like the schools today where you sign a two year contract "earning" your black belt at the end of the two years!  SMH, (paul ATA is a more traditional branch so you will get more of the core values of taekwondo there)   I recently started mauy thai, I like the more brutal side to this art in comparison to taekwondo,   I also am a Navy veteran who was actually one of the  command  fitness coordinators for Portsmouth naval hospital in Virginia some 22 years ago (time flies!!)     after a 10 year hiatus  because of work and other addictions.. I stopped my active life and  i quickly found myself over 400 pounds wondering what happened???    after many failed attempts at diets  i decided to get the surgery done..  i then immersed myself back into martial arts , jogging and biking and haven't looked back ..   I think i found the right corner of this forum to hang..thanks again!

No wars on this board.  Are you kidding. We have the tris, the duals, the  runners, walkers, cyclists, weight lifters, and now the muay thai. The only thing we fight about is success. Welcome to the secret weapon of weight loss.  Keep us informed on your success.
