What type of results does the stationary bike yield??

I'm trying to get my legs a bit more tone, while at the same time appear thinner.  I want to lose anothher 20lbs and it's seemingly impossible.

May God bless us in all of our endeavors.  May He forgive us for our frailties and our vanities and bless us to be prosperous in health, soul, and in life.

For me, I have to expend very little effort on the stationary bike so I don't do it. I stick with the elliptical and the treadmill and use the bike when I am injured. It doesn't get my heart rate up. BUT - if you take a spin class that is a whole different ballgame. You might want to try that or try biking outdoors if riding a bike is your thing!

The stationary bike is a great tool if you use it correctly. If you increase the intensity and drive your heart up you for a minimum of 30 minutes you should end up in a puddle of sweat with great legs. If you don't have a puddle of sweat your not doing the bike justice. It is the same as a spin class except you set your own pace and goals.
