No, but I did see a couple squished Rattle Snakes on the road.  With the weather starting to warm up, the snakes are coming out.

They were probably out at night sucking up the heat from the road and met with a car tire.

Wow, what a wonderful ride. And it was nice they took such good care of you.
Ok, the pictures were so good I now long for the redwoods. I think we'll go hiking up in the redwoods over Memorial Day weekend. It's been a long time since we were there, and I was too big to go far so I just sat in a grove while my hubby and boys hiked. Now I can go too.

Can't wait for my Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon this summer. Maybe I'll see you.

That Napa to Sonoma half sounds like a nice race.  I'm not scheduled for any running events until next January at Disney World.

Heck I haven't done any running in months.  I have been mostly focusing on cycling as it's my favorite.

I hope you have a great day at the race, and enjoy the redwoods on your visit.

It's really a nice half.  My hubby and I do it with Team Challenge to raise money for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.  Last year we had over 800 walkers/runners from around the country plus supporters.  We were all in our orange jerseys and cheering each other on.  They make it a whole event with a dinner at a winery the night before, after race party, ...  It's what got me adicted to halves last year.  And together we raised over $2 million toward research.  So it's my favorite event of the year.  My team from the South Bay this year has I think over 70 members, so we're one big family.
