Happy Early Mother's Day to all my inspirations!
Yes, I mean you all! I'm off to LA to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom, which I haven't done in about 15 or so years. My older son is in college down there so he will join us too. Should be a nice weekend. I hope all you moms out there have a most wonderful weekend and that your kids are kind and appreciative and take good care of you Sunday. Ok, so I can dream.

Thanks Kim. My parents live in the hills of Whittier, and I plan to take a 4-8 mile walk/jog around tomorrow morning. We were going to spend Sat. at the Huntington Library, but my mom dislocated her shoulder last week and tires really easily right now. So I brought a lot of movies to watch with her.

My "first born" was a wonderful yellow lab named Sedric. My second born was a rescue black lab/mix who was mostly ditzy named Siam. Then I had my two human sons, then my Avi is my fifth kid and I'd say I'm mom to a cat, but really she's the queen and I'm just a lowly servant.
