Results from Fitness Assessment at gym
My company sponsored an 8 week fitness challenge. I began the challenge 02/28 and had a "pre-assessment" done. Today was my post-assessment. I wanted to share with you what I accomplished. Please know that I recognize that I have a long way to go but am still proud with what I have improved upon!
Feb April Change
Weight 210.0 195.4 -14.5 lbs/ 7% lower
Body Fat % 41.2 (Well below Avg.) 38.2 (Well below Avg.) 7% lower
BMI 33.89 (Well below Avg.) 31.53 (Well below Avg.) 7% lower
Waist-Hip Ratio 0.9 (Well below Avg.) 0.77 (Average) 14% lower
Resting Heart Rate 72 bpm (Average) 78 bpm (Below Avg.) 33% decline
3-min. Step Test 125 bpm (Below Avg.) 98 bmp (Above Avg.) 22% lower
Push-Up Test 0 (Well below Avg.) 15 (Average)
Sit-Reach Hip Flexion 14.25 in. 13.25 in 7% lower
I improved everything except resting heart rate (I was excited though does that count?) and that stupid sit and reach test :( Anyway, I was quite happy. I had absolutely no upper body strength 8 weeks ago.
The challenge is over but I think I will go back at my one year annniversary and see where I'm at.

Mazel Tov! That's a wonderful improvement and you should be quite proud of yourself. It's nice when you see actual results for all your hard work. I don't know if I can even do pushups now. You're doing great.
