Insanity workout?

Have any of you exercise junkies tried this? My husband & I are thinking of buying it. I'm out of shape, he is a marathoner but it sounds like you just do what you can and try not to die

If you did it, did it hurt your running?

Thanks for any reviews!

i haven't, is it like cross-fit or p90x?   there are a number of folks here that do those but havne't come across the insanity workout.
Where are we going??  And why am I in this handbasket??

right now.  somewhere.  somebody is working harder than you.

Hi Mcarthur thanks for the reply. It is like a more intense p90 from what I've seen. Some of the reviewers had finished the P90 and said this kicked their butts.

We went for it and ordered the DVD. No weights or anything required just a very intense 60 day workout.

The reviews said if you have bad knees it is not for you

If anyone is interested I'll post some weekly updates. Should be interesting since my husband and I are at opposite ends of the "in-shape" scale.

My husband plans on doing this in the morning and continuing his runs in the evening. hopefully it won't derail the running. I'm just hoping to survive without injury and get in shape!

I love Insanity and do it six days a week.  It is hard but I just do what I can do.  Shaun T is very encouraging and the workout becomes addictive.  I think you would like it.
