Congrats on taking the time to just enjoy the experience!
We went into the Expo on Saturday and had a great time mixing and mingling with the marathoners as well as enjoying the new products and buffet of food/fuel to try.
We also went out to cheer on the elites and the first wave of runners this morning. I'm like a kid at Christmas during Marathon Monday, I'm so glad this year I had a boyfriend that was into it enough to take in a whole lot more of the experience.
Hopefully we'll overlap on a race one of these days - you're not that far! I'm running in Providence, RI in 2 weeks - one of these days I might land in CT!!

My wife is very good about playing along with my running shennanigans and luckily she went to school in Boston so she is always up for the trip. I really wanted to do the partiot place 10K this year but I am not sure if this will be the year or not. We will meet up sometime.

I used to do reports for any race. Now I do probably 4 a year and I'm sure that in a few years I won't do many at all. Maybe I will. Who knows.
Typically, I will try to run fast in local races and take pictures in destination races. Maybe that's why I have never run a fast marathon. :)

Thanks. It was cool running with the crowd but there was just nowhere to go. It was nutty and there was just not enough time for the people to stretch out.
